Kidibe Richard Kinyadeng Profile

ProfileKidibe Richard Kinyadeng is an MPhil student in Mathematical and Computational Physics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. He is working broadly on quantum algorithms for materials simulation, with a focus on diagnosing and mitigating gradient troughs in ADAPT-VQE as applied to strongly correlated BCC refractory metals such as tungsten. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from KNUST.
Education
BSc (Hons) Mathematics (First Class), KNUST, Ghana, 2024
Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development, Ghana, 2025

Research and Technical Expertise

  • Quantum Algorithms: Variational Quantum Eigensolver (VQE) and ADAPT-VQE for strongly correlated electronic systems.
