Program (PSI-SSP) 2025

invites students to join its world-leading research community for a part-time 10-week school in theoretical physics beginning in May 2025. Participants will learn about cutting-edge topics in modern theoretical physics through four courses, group projects on specialized topics, and other special events such as presentations from researchers and panel discussions. The school will involve synchronous and asynchronous with independent work or study each week.

Events

The school will also include a series of organized events, such as:

• An ice-breaking event to start off the school. This will be an informal way for you to meet the other students and some of the instructors, play some games, and get to know each other.
• A keynote presentation (speaker to be announced)
• An information session about the PSI master’s program

Eligibility

• Applicants must be an African or a Ghanaian student;
• Applicants must be planning to apply to a graduate program in physics;
• Applicants must have some basic knowledge in classical mechanics and quantum mechanics before the start of the program in May 2025.
• Applicant must have strong interest in Mathematical / Computational Physics.
