Breaking Barriers: Dr. Christiana Subaar Appointed First Female Examination Officer for KNUST Physics
KUMASI, GHANA — The Department of Physics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has announced a historic milestone with the appointment of Dr. Christiana Subaar as its new Examination Officer. Dr. Subaar becomes the first woman to hold this pivotal administrative role within the department.
A distinguished Senior Lecturer with over two decades of experience in STEM education, Dr. Subaar brings a wealth of academic rigor and institutional knowledge to the position. Her appointment is seen as a significant step forward in promoting gender diversity within the university’s scientific leadership. Dr. Subaar is a specialist in Medical Physics and Nuclear Science and Technology.
